Learning Target: RI.11-12.9 Analyze U.S. foundational documents of particular historical significance. RI.11-12.1 Cite evidence to support analysis of one or more ideas within a text.
Classwork
  1. Do Now: Attach Quarter 3, Week 6 of 11 to the next LEFT PAGE of your notebook. Read and annotate the document using the circle/underline/star method. MAKE SURE TO WRITE AT LEAST ONE NOTE FOR YOURSELF ON THE PAPER.
  2. After: Complete the  Structure of an Argument activity on WB pp. 59-63 using the U.S. Declaration of Independence.
  3. Then: Student work-time for research. Attach the MLA Citation Guide (pp. 9-10) to the RIGHT PAGE in your notebook.
  4. Next: Student Teacher Conferences and Notebook check

  • Complete any revisions to EA 1: Definition Essay by tonight at midnight
  • Complete at least one more Annotated Bibliography entry by tonight at midnight
