Due Today: Open Mind
Learning Target: W.11-12.1 Write arguments to support claims in an analysis of substantive topics or texts, using valid reasoning and relevant and sufficient evidence. W.11-12.5 Develop and strengthen writing as needed. .W.11-12.8 Gather relevant information from multiple authoritative print and digital sources.
Classwork
  1. Do Now: Preview the entire blog post for this week. Title the next page of your INB Quarter 3, Week 6 of 10. In a format that works best for you, use the entire page to organize:
    • today's focusshort-term activitieslong-term activitiesdue dates
    • at the bottom, copy the target practice for today
  2. After: Look at pages 15 and 16 of this packet to help in your planning of the paper
    • Begin planning where your source information will enter into the essay
  3. Then: Individual time to type EA 2.
  4. Next (a note for student consideration): Be prepared to work independently in class AND outside of class for the next month if you are interested in being rated as proficient for this course!
Target Practice: I can finish typing a COMPLETE draft of EA 2 by Sunday, February 25 at midnight. Fist-5?
