  1. Do Now: Preview the entire blog post for this week. Title the next page of your INB Quarter 4, Week 2 of 10. In a format that works best for you, use the entire page to organize:
    • today's focus, short-term activities, long-term activities, due dates
    • at the bottom, copy the target practice for today
  2. After: Written reflection on the Junior Paper Process in your INB. Use these questions to plan your reflection. Did you:
    • find a passion? Explain why or why not.
    • develop good questions? Explain why or why not.
    • research effectively? Explain why or why not.
    • develop an argument? Explain why or why not.
    • plan the essay? Explain why or why not.
    • draft the essay? Explain why or why not.
    • edit the essay? Explain why or why not.
    • revise the essay to a proficient level or better? Explain why or why not.

  2. After: Review responses with the CAT scoring guide and interpret why answers are what they are
  3. Then: Review SBA Performance Task format and functions (click here for a sample PT)
  4. After: (time permitting) Practice SBA Performance Task
