Late Research Reminder: Topic Choice, Annotated Bibliography, Outline, and Draft MUST be completed by March 11 BEFORE a final can be graded!
STAR Reminder: YOU must find a time to do STAR during the next two weeks. It must be on a computer connected to Kekaulike's network. A link is at the top of this blog.

Learning Target: W.11-12.5 Develop and strengthen writing as needed by planning, revising, editing, rewriting, or trying a new approach. 
Classwork
  1. Do Now: Preview the entire post for this week as a group.
  2. After: Shmoop's Revision Tools! Create another 4-square in your INB. Write down 4 ways that you learned from the video to revise your writing!
  3. Then: Revise your draft of the essay using the four tips you chose today.
  4. During: Individual student-teacher meetings to revise the essay (15 minute max./student)
  5. Next: Reminder about STAR test (link at the top of this blog)
    • You must do this at some point this week while you are on campus. Remember, your score is based on your GROWTH from last time!
Target Practice: My research paper is proficient in all 7 of the rubric criteria. Fist-5?

  • Continue revising your research paper
    • If there is any part of the research process you have not completed, it must BE complete by March 11.
  • Continue Independent Learning Activity- due TODAY! Khan Academy, IRL, or Creative Activity
