Make sure INB is on your class shelf by the end of the day on THURSDAY, MARCH 14 for Vocab assessment.

  1. Do Now: Preview the entire post for this week as a group.
  2. After: 20-30 minute revision activity with class-chosen strategy. Choices are:
    • Personal pronouns (1st Person), sentence structure, word choice/contractions
  3. Then: 20-30 minute revision activity with class-chosen strategy. Choices are:
    • transitions, punctuation, or passive vs. active voice, syntax
  4. Next (time-permitting): Become an expert on at least ONE of the rubric categories from this document for the Research Paper
    • Make sure you are with a group who can cover all of the categories (or that can, at least, agree to skip the same ones BECAUSE YOU CAN CHECK THE ESSAY YOURSELF)

  • Continue revising your research paper
    • You can make revisions until the final is due on March 29 @ midnight
  • Continue INB Vocabulary with 35-40 new words- due Thursday, March 14.

  2. After: 20-30 minute group peer editing strategy using the Research Paper Rubric
  3. Then: Debrief the activity and any lingering questions about the research paper
  4. Next:  Preview Quarter 4 and SBA testing
    • Reminder: INB Vocabulary in the shelf. Make sure Name Tent is in it to earn enrichment.
