2. After: Complete In-class writing activity. Prompt: Based on your understanding of your topic, write a short essay that addresses your claim, counterclaim, and refute.
3. Then: Self-score the essay with this rubric
4. Next: Review goals and expectations for the week

Learning Objective: W.11.12.5, Develop and strengthen writing as needed by planning, revising, editing and rewriting to address purpose and audience.

1. Do Now: Copy the learning objective and target practice in your journal.  Then, write in your journal what the biggest challenge will be in completing Draft 2 by the due-date.  How will you meet that challenge?
2. After: Group Activity looking at p.17 in the paper packet
3. Then: Writing time in-class for Draft 2
4. Next: Update on in-class novel sign-up (new title added as of 3/29)

2. After: Preview Group Peer Editing Activity (NEED HARD-COPY OF DRAFT 2)
3. Then: Group Peer Editing Activity
4. Next: Use Peer Editing Checklist for a partner's paper.  Then, Share your document with at least one other person on GoogleDrive (this person will be responsible for peer editing your paper online).
