  1. Do Now: Copy the learning objective and target practice in your journal. Next week, you will be participating in the Expository Writing End of Course Exam.  In your journal, copy and respond to the following question: What kinds of questions do you expect to see on the Expos I EOC?
  2. After: list and discuss responses
  3. Then: Use computers to preview the EOC practice test.
  4. Next: Overview of the Lesson Plan activity and groupwork to complete at least one major section (2 or 4)

  1. Do Now: Copy the learning objective and target practice.  After, use a computer to open this link to pages 14 and 15 for the EOC Language portion.  After reading, write in your journal about how you think you will perform on this portion of the exam.
  2. After: discuss responses
  3. Then: Discuss how to use the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts in the Lesson Plan
  4. Next: Complete both sections 2 and 4 of the Lesson Plan Activity (one of these should have been completed before class today)
